Forgetting

I'm going to be honest; I almost forgot to write tonight. That is the truth of the life that I live. I didn't used to forget things but now I can hardly remember things. My husband has always had trouble remembering so it has been a real struggle as I have joined his party. I digress. Tonight I was able to get some seeds in starter containers for the flowers we are going to plant in the garden. I am also researching rose varieties. This garden is bringing hope to my days. The audiobook I am listening to is Wintering by Katherine May and at the moment she is talking of ice baths and daily swims in the sea all year long. I long to live near the sea. My body craves water, it always has. I don't have much to say beyond that tonight except that we need to sleep; We need to go to bed earlier and let our brains rest. Maybe then will we begin to remember.
