Beginning....

I am not quite sure how this platform works for writing although I am sure that the only frequent visitor of my website is myself so there is not much worry there. Someday I do hope there will be regular foot traffic but that is not the reason of starting my ramblings today. Rather, I am committing to writing as a means of record keeping the creative progress that I make. Today, for example, I spent time in the yard exploring part four of Gastropod; working on an excerpt, "At a Snail's Pace". This shorter piece will explore the everyday journey and continual jump from my immediate time postpartum-finding movement in my body again back into my dream of dancing forever. In the final performance, this choreography will be slowed and stretched.
