Movement for Mamas

Inspired by my performance, “Slowly, slowly, we begin again” (2025), the story of my transition into motherhood through the lens of a snail, I began the framework for a workshop to help new moms reconnect to their bodies’ postpartum. Becoming a mom for the first time felt like losing a part of myself. Slowly, I began again, and remembered that while I was (and continue to be) home for my daughter, I was home to myself first.

Each day, I practice movement that helps me to reconnect to this body that I have, this body that I am lucky enough to call home. My hope is to help other birthing people find (remember) this for themselves. This is not a movement workshop with the intention to change your body in any way. Rather, it is a practice of coming home to yourself, a practice rooted in presence, gratitude, compassion, and kindness. If you’d like to join me, please join the waitlist below.

Once enough participants have expressed interest, you will receive an email with dates for this workshop series and a link to officially register. This movement workshop is open to any and all birthing parents. Please feel free to reach out on my connect page with any questions.
